Garlic Prawns | Original Tasty & Mouth Watering Portuguese Recipe

This mouth watering recipe for garlic prawns is a traditional Portuguese way of cooking grilled prawns with olive oil and garlic, after marinating in lemon juice and chilli flakes. Potuguese food is known for it’s fiery taste, and you can use as much or as little of chilli flakes as you like to spice up these garlic prawns. The lemon, chilli and garlic combination is a winner and will have you hooked! This recipe is equally delicious served either with a vegetable or tomato rice, or with crusty bread. The amount of olive oil used will determine how healthy this recipe is. Don’t overdo the oil. Prawns do have a high cholesterol content however, even though they are low in saturated fat. So, if you’re following a heart healthy diet, then limit your serving of this garlic prawns recipe and keep the olive oil to a minimum.
